Yes. Each unit is on a separate title. In addition, you may be allocated a car port for your exclusive use.

Resident owner/s or approved nominated occupiers who are over 55 years of age.

As long as you are in residence you may have a guest stay with you for up to four weeks at a time. Longer visits would need to be approved by management.

Pets are welcome at Drysdale Retirement Village.

Residents are responsible rates, telephone, electricity, internet, repairs and redecorating inside their own unit, and a monthly maintenance/service fee. Stamp duty is applicable unless you are eligible for the government’s one off senior exemption.

The service fee covers the Management Company’s operating costs and the Body Corporate expenses including:
Insurance on all buildings and public risk but excluding the contents of units.
Common property lighting and maintenance costs including lawn mowing.
Cost of operating the Village House.
Wages and salaries of the Village Manager.

Common property includes all roads and footpaths, the Village House with courtyard and BBQ, communal gathering areas, an onsite workshop, and vegetable plot.

Yes. The Government’s home care packages are available to eligible residents in the Village upon application to My Aged Care.

We see this as the social and administrative centre of the Village. The Village Manager currently lives in the residence above.

The Village Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the office, the supervision of maintenance and upkeep, assisting the organisation and co-ordination of social activities and the general book-keeping and administration of the Village.

Yes. There is an ample selection of doctors available in Drysdale and a wider choice in Geelong. Local doctors’ surgeries are an easy walk from the Village.

No, Drysdale Retirement Village is Independent Living, but appropriate nursing assistance is available through My Aged Care and Barwon Health

You simply advise the Manager who can arrange for a valuation of your Unit to determine its market value and the selling price. When the sale is made, you will receive the sale price less the Deferred Management Fees and usual selling costs, as detailed in the Contract of Sale.

Complete the application form (Memorandum of Terms of Sale), pay the $1,000 holding deposit and the Unit will be reserved for you at the price indicated. Contract documents will then be prepared and signed and the deposit, 10% of the purchase price, is then payable. Possession may be given early by mutual agreement, depending on your needs.
